Luxuriate Amid Nature at Ambiente Sedona

This is the best hotel experience I’ve had to date! Booked through Amex’s Fine hotels and resorts and got early check in at 12, late check out, complimentary room upgrade, and credits to use onsite. Maria was amazing at forty1 for dinner, and Brooke in the spa gave me the best craniosacral work I’ve ever had! Richard and Ray carted us around the property and had the best service attitudes I’ve ever come across. Hospitality was 10/10, food and drinks 10/10, spa 12/10, and our atrium room with the rooftop was just incredible. We felt so taken care of and can’t wait to come back. And don’t forget to book the Lexus convertible experience! Bravo!

I don’t think anything can do Ambiente justice but I am going to try my best. My husband and I are on the younger side (25&26) and Ambiente has perfectly tapped into everything we want from a hotel. We just finished our second stay this year and have a third booked for August. Our first stay the moment we drove up and met the valet (Chris and Mitchell are amazing, so down to earth, sweet, and genuinely care about the guests they feel like friends in the area) and were shown to the desk to check in where we met Danny (another kind soul, he remembered us when we came back again and is just an amazing person). In perfect timing after we checked in the valet already had our bags on a bell cart ready to give us a tour of the property. Everything feels so seamless and effortless. One thing we note that’s different about Ambiente is other luxury resorts can have a bit of a robotic feel and that they will do anything because they have to and it leaves us feeling a bit awkward. At Ambiente we never feel this robotic awkward clash in the service because everyone is so welcoming and most of the time already anticipate exactly what you want or need without you even realizing it. My husband and I originally were going to hotel hop around in Sedona and we started with the enchantment, then came to Ambiente and realized we couldn’t go anywhere else after our experience because nothing would measure up. Our first night this last stay our morning housekeeping service wasn’t performed and because of our last stay and how incredible it was our first thought wasn’t that housekeeping didn’t come. It was that we had done something to make them not come and sure enough we had left the do not disturb sign on the door. This review is purely for the hotel. I could make another lengthy review about forty-one but other people I want to highlight in this review are Kat, Prudence, and Dory they were always so attentive in the text service and honestly I don’t know how they do it. If you are looking for a luxury experience that hits all the boxes of sophisticated but not stuffy while being effortless. You’ve found your spot.

We went with a group of friends last weekend, and were blown away by the property, service and food. We had a large group (10) for dinner and the food and staff were top notch. Our rooms were impeccable - clean (obviously) but also in perfect shape. The room staff were attentive asking when the best turn-down time would be, and made sure to tidy up as well. Checking in and out was a breeze, from the champagne upon arrival to the car waiting for us when we left totally seamless. This property exceeds expectations in the big and little ways! Would recommend!

One of the best hotel I’ve stayed at in the U.S. so far. The service was truly outstanding. We had an assistant we could contact by text 24/7 for anything, and the response time was incredibly fast. Even when we asked for water around midnight, they showed up within two minutes. We also booked a special rooftop dinner experience above our room, and the food was absolutely excellent. The entree, especially the fish dish with coconut rice, was amazing. My boyfriend said the chef here is simply a genius. The staff serving us at the rooftop table were also very professional, and the whole experience, with the beautiful red rock view, was unforgettable. The overall 4 stars is because the one and only important thing that was below my expectations — the room view. I booked the Landscape Atrium room, but the window view was 60% partially blocked by other room buildings in front of us. I could still enjoy the full view from the rooftop, but some front-line rooms may have a much better direct view. Overall, though, this was still a wonderful and memorable stay.

Our stay was amazing! They welcomed us with a nice surprise upon arrival. Once we checked in we didn’t have to lift a finger. They escorted us to our room by golf cart. Our room was intimate and included many amenities. The views were nice, the roof top showcased the beautiful mountains. The pool and hot tub were relaxing. We enjoyed the sauna that overlooked the koi pond. Our breakfast was delicious and was served to us in bed. The service was top tier and I would definitely recommend that you check it out.
