Luxuriate Amid Nature at Ambiente Sedona

We had the pleasure of staying at Ambiente last week for 2 days for a friend's wedding, the first wedding that the hotel has hosted. If I had to choose one word to describe this hotel, it would be - spectacular! The atrium (room) amenities are amazing - comfy bed, luxurious shower, complimentary snacks/drinks, the cutest tea bags, and the best robe I've ever put on, I wanted to take it home! Each atrium with a rooftop patio that great for taking in the views/stars. The pool and hot tub was open 24/7 which I find rare at hotels. The breakfast menu has lots of selection and they have a fun cocktail menu as well. The resort was very clean and the service - from the valet guys to the servers/bartenders, housekeeping - top notch, every staff member we came across was friendly and happy. Ambiente has set the bar high for other hotel stays, I don't know that any other hotel can top the experience we had here! I hope to come back some day to enjoy more of the amenities and check out surrounding hikes. Thank you for the memorable stay.

Dining at the on-site restaurant was a delightful experience, thanks to Chef David Duncan. His menu featured a diverse array of delicious dishes, all prepared to perfection. Ambiente has set a new standard for excellence in hospitality. My wife and I highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay. We look forward to our next visit!

I stayed at Ambiente for 3 nights. I can't say enough good things about facility. First, the staff is so available and happy to be of service. Always a smile, prompt, professional nothing is too much. The food is fabulous and served with care. Poolside the staff checked in often and again nothing was too much trouble. My massage was a great experience. My masseuse was very knowledgeable and really worked hard to help me with my injury . The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The surroundings are gorgeous and visible from the rooms. Wonderful! Joan Collins

I had a wonderful 90-minute Swedish massage with Ivy. I requested for gentle pressure during my massage, and Ivy fulfilled that request. She provided a personable experience, asking me about my preferences and focused on the tense body areas that needed a gentle rub. Afterwards, I had some refreshments and enjoyed the soft cookies and the fruit-infused water. At the end of my visit, Mara was an employee who I randomly spoke with about the property, the family who owns the business, and the overall experience of the hotel. Mara made me want to book a room due to her hospitality. She suggested good restaurants in the Sedona area, took some pics of me during my solo-visit, and even arranged a car service for me since it is difficult to get ride-share in Sedona… I must say, the staff add the cherry-on-top at this establishment. Every employee that I’ve encountered was approachable and friendly. Cons: It’s difficult to get in contact directly with the spa. I’ve called the spa multiple times, and the phone did not ring. When i called the hotel’s front desk, I would get an answer, but once I was transferred over the phone would disconnect. I was informed that it may be due to the spa’s phone line being busy. Perhaps, a phone system where callers can be on multiple lines and placed on hold would work better. Another thing I would suggest is for off-property guests (visiting the spa) to have more spa amenities. As the property continues to succeed and grow, it would be nice for spa guests to have the option to purchase spa day passes. With this, spa guests could receive access to a hot tub, heated pool, indoor/outdoor lounge area with mountain views, food and drink services, etc. Since this is a luxury hotel/spa, i feel like this implementation/ addition would make the spa experience feel more special and memorable. A sauna, a small refreshment area, and a side view of the mountains is not enough when we’re talking about luxury. This hotel is surrounded by picturesque mountain views, so why not share nature’s beauty with spa guests? It’s called a landscape hotel/spa for a reason. An upgrade is necessary, even if it means separating on-property guests from off-property guests with offered spa amenities and common areas. Overall, i enjoyed my time, but I look forward to some changes when i visit again!:)

We spent 2 nights here in June to celebrate our 30th anniversary. It was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and have very thoughtful details. The rooftop was great for viewing stars. The entire staff (that we interacted with) all had great attention to detail and did everything possible to make sure we were happy and had what we wanted. Absolutely a great place to relax, enjoy the beautiful views and soak up the fabulous service. The car service was an added touch we weren’t aware of before getting there. We will definitely be back.
