Tahoe Tastings has provided us with the perfect wine tasting adventure with an added twist; we are on Lake Tahoe on a beautiful boat tour!! A water wine tasting event that could never be forgotten. Sail along gorgeous Lake Tahoe while sampling 8 amazing wines from various wine regions in Northern California. Indulge in a timeless charcuterie board as you choose your favorite wine selections. As you make your way from sparkling wine to the whites and reds, gaze out onto the lake as the captain takes you from the marina and you circle through Emerald Bay. Tahoe tasting is the best vacation/adventure/must-visit spot to go to. This is a traditional thing to do for me and my girlfriend for the past 3 years straight. You go to the docks and are greeted by the staff while going on a mini boat and explore the great views of lake tahoe while having 8 GLASSES OF WINE 🍷. Buckle up, besides the great selection of wine, you explore the beautiful waters, and friendly conversations with other guests while having many drinks for almost 2 hours. It's a must for any couples or individuals wanting to explore tahoe for a great price. 10/10

So much fun! Beautiful boat, very good wines, and gorgeous scenery. I did the tasting then drank a half a bottle of wine, so I really wished I had ordered a charcuterie from them or brough my own snacks!! Would definitely do it again.

Glad we did it! Part of our anniversary celebration. Ashley was very nice and did our wine tasting. You get the tasting list but she also goes over each wine with you. The captain was also fun n nice. The boat is beautiful. The inside had plastic dividers for covid safety. The seating is comfortable. I had my CAM boat and had room to put my leg up when needed. They let me lick up my chair on the dock..and I had.NO problems with my cane on board. We lucked out with BEAUTIFUL weather. We opted for the meat n cheese tray which also came with fruits, honey n chocolate. Yum. We liked all the wines. The back of boat is open, great for pictures. Overall, highly recommend if it's in your budget.

FAQs

Where does the cruise go?

Cruises begin on the Golden Rose in the Tahoe Keys Marina. The course follows the south-west shore of Lake Tahoe into Emerald Bay, all the way back to Vikingsholm. We do not disembark in Emerald Bay but we will stop for picture opportunities if boat traffic allows.

Are pets allowed?

No pets please, service animals only.

Are children allowed?

Yes and No. Standard scheduled daily tours on the Golden Rose are limited to adults 21 and older.If you want to rent the vessel for a private tour, there is no age requirement.
