I had no idea there was a waterfall this tall in the middle of New York state. Easy and gorgeous riverside walk to the bottom of the falls. There's also a viewing area off the road at the top of the gorge that shows a great (bust distsnt) view of the falls and foliage

Always beautiful but try to go after it rains, it's hit or miss how much water you'll see but it's so beautiful when it's raging down! Lots of hiking. The camping areas are nice but a little smaller than the Watkins Glen campgrounds. Beautiful scenery, & there's plenty of other places to visit so close! Buttermilk Falls, etc. Oh and allll the wineries if that's your thing!

Excellent, beautiful trail.!!! Very light but very beautiful. Great for the whole family. The trail is crowded, if you like to walk alone, I think you should choose something else or choose an unpopular time.

Amazing hike, little to no elevation change. Only about 3/4 mile hike in the lower trail till you see breath taking view of the falls.

Taughannock Falls is an absolute gem in Ithaca! A brief, scenic walk through the gorge leads you to this breathtaking natural wonder. The trail is flat, wide, making it accessible to all. There are multiple view points. Top view can be accessible by driving car to a parking with few minute walk. Lower falls require a 20-30 min hike. The moment you lay eyes on the falls, you'll be awe-struck by its beauty. Definitely worth the visit!
