Rejuvenate at Mount Princeton's Natural Hot Springs

Love this hot springs! This is an experience you won't forget. Chilling in the creek and moving rocks to get your perfect temp is the way to go. The adult only pool is nice and peaceful. Rooms were nice, nothing to write home to. It's the perfect vacation spot.

We have known about this place for quite a while and decided to go for the day. We didn’t stay there but hung out in the pools. I did read some reviews before heading there and one great suggestion was to bring your own towels as the resort charges you to rent them. There were two pools for us to choose from as well as the “hot tubs” in the river. The area where you first pay is in dire need of an upgrade and cleaning. Did not smell great at all and we chose to change into our swimsuits in the car. We started by trying out the makeshift hot tubs next to the river. There are quite a few up and down the side so make sure you pick one that is warm as they are not all the same temp. The two pools were next. 1 was pretty hot and 1 was a very nice temp. It was not too busy when we went and the rain kept coming and going which made it very nice in the warm pools. I would recommend keeping valuables in the car as other guests like to rummage through our towels. Overall a pleasant spot to hang out for a while and enjoy the weather and water.

Just reviewing the hot springs, not the hotel/resort. We didn't stay at the resort. Hot springs felt more like heated swimming pools than natural springs. I've been to a few other hot springs and I had different expectations I guess. I would choose somewhere else for hot springs experience.

My wife and I had a great vacation here and would definitely be back. We do wish the rooms were a little updated as far as carpet. We stayed in the cliff side room. The view was great but the outside was rotting as far as wood trim and the weeds were grown up quite high also the water pressure was very low in the shower. Other than that we loved it.

This was my first trip to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort and it was 1000/10 - everything I hoped for and more! There are 3 sets of hot springs pools. The upper pool is my favorite because of the amazing views and was right near our Hillside room which was basic but immaculate and comfortable. The whole vibe of the place is so relaxing and fun and the immersion into nature is totally unmatched. I’ve never been to a resort that’s so respectful and reverent of its natural surroundings. I didn’t notice until we were leaving back down from St. Elmo, which was also absolutely gorgeous ofc, that the resort has its own greenhouses! We also had dinner on the patio at the Mary Murphy Steakhouse on site which was bourgeois and SO worth it. The service is excellent everywhere and everyone is eager to give you insider hints on all the hikes and things to do around town. I’m sure I’m forgetting lots of amazing details and surprises. Just do yourself a favor book the reservation immediately!!
