Glacier Paddleboarding on Knik Glacier with Helicopter Tour

Best experience ever! God’s creation is incredible and this tour gave the opportunity to go up close the unreachable lands, touch them, walk on them and better yet taste the purity of glacier water. Pilots and the team are very knowledgeable and strive hard to give you the best experience. Thank you Bryan for clicking great pictures. Pilot has a very keen eye to spot the wildlife. On our flight we have seen mountain sheep, goat and eagle. You would definitely appreciate the beauty of nature, humongous glacier structures and be surprised how tiny we are relatively. Go for it. It is once in a lifetime thing. Special shout out to Trudy who drove patiently back and forth from Girdwood. She is very friendly, kind and truly an amazingly talented person. She made sure I’m comfortable and we had some great conversations along the way. Molly, Brie in the staff were empathetic and helped me reschedule the reservation as the flights got cancelled due to bad weather. The staff took caution and every precaution to keep you safe and ensure you have best experience possible. It has been a memorable experience and I’m sure it will be for anyone.

This was an experience of a lifetime. I surprised a friend for her birthday and let me tell you she was beyond grateful. Wyatt Boone was out pilot, he was professional, approachable, experienced, and you can tell he loves his job with a passion. Starting at a young age of 18 Wyatt has being doing what he loves for the past 10 years! He was knowledgeable about the 7000 year old glacier, the animals in the area, took us out onto the glacier where we hiked a bit! The views from the helicopter were amazing 😍😍 I will say the Glacier water was the most refreshing and tastful water I have ever had in my life! Had I known that I would be experiencing drinking glacier water I would have brought a container with me. I honestly think of they sold them it would generate more income .....but that's not my lane!! 😂 I would definitely buy one though!! Pictures do not do this adventure justice but I did snap a few for memories. I plan to experience this again in the summer so I can do the paddle boarding!! What an absolutely amazing experience. There were 4 of us ladies, which had us taking 2 separate helicopters. We were bummed at first until we met Cody and Sam, our pilots. They were the best tour guides. So personable, experienced, and took great caution with us in showing where to walk and where not to walk. We had the best time. Thanks again Sam for risking your life and saving my cap lol and thank you Cody, the pictures you took of us were beautiful. And the pictures on the ground we took of the snow sparkling made the whole day.

Definitely the high point of our trip! Our Grand Knik Helicopter Tour was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our pilot, Wyatt, was professional, friendly, and such an amazing resource who was able to answer all of our questions about the mountain range, glaciers, and wildlife. We landed in three different areas and even walked on a glacier! Wyatt was also an excellent photographer and was so kind in using my iPhone to capture family pictures for us at each stop. This tour was worth every penny. If you have the opportunity, do not hesitate to go!

My first time riding in a helicopter and what an incredible breathtaking experience! The transportation they provided from my hotel was great and made it easy to get to the tour. I really enjoyed the conversation with Kevin, the driver who picked me up, Molly was very friendly and accommodating and Wyatt the helicopter pilot was super skilled in flying us to each landing spot while giving us the best views of the glacier. I will definitely come back to do another tour!
