Trot to Yosemite Trails Horseback Adventures

My granddaughter and I had a great time on our early morning ride. Perfect weather for the last, end of summer adventure. James was a fun and informative guide. I had previously rwas the review and have to saw i don't understand some of the negative reviews. Highly recommend for adults and kids. Book early morning for the best ride.

Pleasant experience riding through the meadow and good value for our family. For having no riding experience, we felt safe on the mules, and James was particularly attentive to our youngest who was more hesitant. We will give it 4 stars because it was rough start in that we arrived *only* a half hour prior to the start (even though instructions say you must be there an hour prior) and the staff was not pleasant to us (even though it then only took a few minutes to prepare and we started on time— unclear why there is a strict requirement to arrive an hour early — perhaps they can make this more clear)

I had seen some not-so-good reviews about this place when looking for a place to ride horses. I'm glad I ignored them and took a chance on this place - it was great! The horses are gorgeous and our guide was very knowledgeable about the plant and animal life we saw on the trail. This place was also less expensive than some of the other options we saw. Be sure to book in advance!

Please do not leave Yosemitie without doing the two hour hack with these guys! Becca (think that was her name) was AMAZING! We loved hearing about all the history and seeing the wildlife! My husband had never been on a horse before and was a bit nervous, but his horse Jackpot was brilliant - despite his addiction to fern which sent him and my husband into the bushes on two separate occasions - it was hilarious! My horse Beau was also a legend and very well behaved! Well worth the money, and is actually very cheap for what you get. Highly, highly recommended if you love horses and want to see a different side to the beautiful Yosemitie Park - thank you again to all the staff and their beautiful, hardworking horses 🐴❤️

Great ride! The park is huge and this place is on the south side of Yosemite, so have a good idea on how long it’ll take you to get there. We went on the 1.5 hr ride, it was a pretty simple loop. With some hikers on the trail. However, the staff was friendly and I think his name was James, who led the ride was informative on everything around us which made up for riding in the part of Yosemite that doesn’t have insane views.
