A fun place to play paintball. The staff was friendly, helpful, and patience. This place is huge to run around and practice tactical skills. Highly recommended for teen parties. Make sure to wear long pants and long sleeves clothes that you no longer need.

Hollywood sports Park. It’s an amazing place I give a five star to this place. The staff was welcoming. The park is big and kids love it. not to mention, but I even got the membership for my kids. They love it. I bring them all all the time.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, and HORRIBLE check in experience! Summary: In-line by 1045am, but barely got rentals by 1pm, and started our first 1st match by 150pm!!! Arrived by 1030am. We were there for airsoft walk-in for son's 10th bday; group of 9 coming from Ventura. They had 2-3 people checking in walk-ons and members, thus took 1hr35min just to get wrist bands (1220pm). Then they told us they ran out of rentals (we needed 6, but they only had 3 available). On positive note, in which we were thankful for them getting us 3 new rentals, but that was another mission with hiccups. Went to long rental line, more waiting. They gave us 3 rentals and new rentals weren't ready. We waited some more! Finally someone went back to check again. Came back eventually with 3 red gun rentals around 1240pm. However, there was no way to load magazines. The girl on the counter told us we had to load ONE airsoft BB at time thru the whole where they are supposed to come out of. I told them there was no way in hell we were going to that bc it would take forever, plus it would not work due to the spring. They gave us 3 different plastic bulky magazines from a different gun, but it didn't fit ours. Went back and showed them. They finally found 3 metal magazines that fit the 3 new red gun rentals. Rental guns finally in our hands by 1pm. Next was waiting for airsoft match to start, announcer said about 20min, but didn't get called until about after 130pm. By the time we lined up, back to corner map, and match about to start... it was 150pm! I have the pics to prove it all. I have been to Striker and SC Village. Striker is much smaller and SC Village way bigger; both parks manage with large crowds. It doesn't take 3hrs to start 1st match!!! Please get organized and figure out how to make the check-in process smoother. In regards to us coming back to Hollywood Park, NEVER again!!!

Thank you to Hollywood Sports for hosting our event. The staff made it a great experience for many of our first-timers. They were very helpful and polite with the many questions we had. Although it was their Employee Day they kept us first by meeting all our needs. We book a slot for 10 in advance and had 14 ppl show up the day of which was no problem at all. I recommend prefill your waiver ahead of time to avoid any field time delays as it can eat up some time. My experience has me wanting to book once again or maybe I'll try a walk on. More to come as I visit their facility next time. Thanks.

What is Paintball?

Paintball is most closely related to tag and dodge ball. Paintball games last 10-20 minutes and have set objectives ranging from capture the flag to elimination of the other team (like in dodge ball). In all paintball games, a player is eliminated when they are “marked” by a paintball. A paintball is a round, thin-skinned gelatin capsule with colored liquid inside it. Paintballs are similar to large round vitamin capsules or bath oil beads. The fill inside paintballs is non-toxic, non-caustic, water-soluble and biodegradable. It rinses out of clothing and off skin with mild soap and water.

What Should I wear?

We suggest you wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing that cover as much exposed skin as possible. Hooded sweatshirts, sweat pants, and good running shoes with ankle support are suggested in cooler weather. During summer or when it is hot out, please choose light weight clothing that can breath easy to keep you cool and covered from the sun at the same time. Hollywood Sports has a huge shop where you can purchase a large selection of paintball apparel.

Does getting shot with a Paintball Hurt?

The sting of the paintball is part of the mystique of the game. So, while getting “marked” by a paintball might sting a little, the sensation is similar to getting snapped by a rubber band and will usually go away in a couple seconds.
