Description

Dive into the deep blue waters off Oahu’s North Shore for a thrilling shark diving experience—completely cage-free. Led by expert shark handlers, this two-hour adventure offers a rare opportunity to swim alongside sharks in their natural habitat while learning about their behavior and importance in the ecosystem.

The tour begins at the Haleiwa Harbor, where you’ll board a boat and set out on a scenic ride over crystal-clear waters. Along the way, you may spot sea turtles, dolphins, and even whales (seasonal). Once at the dive site, you’ll receive a safety briefing before slipping into the open ocean with only a snorkel and fins. As you hold onto a safety rope, Galapagos, sandbar, and tiger sharks may glide effortlessly around you—an awe-inspiring and humbling experience.

For those who prefer to watch from the boat, a ride-along option is available. Photography packages can also be added to capture every breathtaking moment of your shark encounter.

We had the best experience! The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of the animals and what to do as you dive. I was so nervous and the staff helped me out of it. The boat ride out the first thing in the morning was so peaceful. Once you’re in the water, It was so beautiful to be so close to these amazing sharks. The best surprise was hearing the Humpback Whales sing and talk to each other. Having a professional photographer dive with you so that you can have beautiful photos of you with the sharks is great feature to have. This experience was life moment. It brought my family and I a forever happy memory. Mahalo!!!

What an amazing experience we had. Never would I thought that a crew like Hawaii Aventure Diving would have made me feel so comfortable that would had me forget I was in the middle of ocean swimming with sharks. From beginning to end, we enjoyed it. The sugar on was also being to see the Humpback Whales. And the pictures they took of us was A-plus worth every penny

Could not have had a better experience! I picked Hawaii Adventure Diving based on the reviews, there are so many companies doing shark dives. This was EASILY the best choice. They cap the trips at a maximum of 6 participants, unlike other tours, which allowed us more freedom and space. The crew was extremely knowledgeable about sharks and their behavior and made sure everyone felt adequately prepared for the experience. We had a ton of fun and the crew was hands down some of the best I’ve had on a boat.

This adventure was 100% worth it today and I cannot wait to get the photos back! The 3 man crew (captain +2 divers, one being a photographer) were very kind and welcoming. Each one of them made sure we knew the safety protocols from the beginning to the end. I believe I saw 6 sharks and even a barracuda. I was a little nervous at first but once you get in the water it felt so tranquil and peaceful to swim near these amazing animals. We even got to see dolphins on the way to the spot and a whale and her baby breach several times on the way back. I don’t think the experience could have been any better. We had a good amount of time to swim with the sharks, and I can’t say I’ll ever want to be in a cage for an experience like this! Will definitely want to come back during tiger shark season for a whole different vibe. Make sure you tip the crew because they deserve it! Thank you Hawaii Adventure Diving so much for the experience of a lifetime and the hospitality. 10/10 experience will go again when we visit next time!

Amazing experience, highly recommend! The staff were very welcoming and made us feel safe the entire time. They were knowledgable and always ensured we felt comfortable and were having a good time. We saw so many sharks and even a few humpback whales while on the boat.
