Ultimate Kauai Helicopter Adventure

My boyfriend and I decided to do the doors off tour with Ali’i and it was the highlight of our trip! It was amazing to see the island from above! We also did a boat tour which we loved as well but this was an unforgettable experience and a must do! Steve was a great pilot! We felt so comfortable and safe with him and he was very knowledgeable about the island and what we were seeing! Kendra was very nice and made the check in a breeze! 10/10 recommend this tour!

Most amazing adventure! From the first time we spoke to Ali’i Kauai Air Tours, we knew this was going to be the best outing while in Hawai’i! We were encouraged to do the doors off tour- and we are so thankful we did!! Our pilot, Steve, and the ladies in the office put us at ease and before we knew it, we were up in the air and seeing the beautiful island of Kauai! Highly recommend!! I did a lot of research into which company to choose for a helicopter tour for my husband and me. What originally drew me to them was the privacy of the tour with no middle seat and their attention to safety. As the tour got closer, their attention to safety really shined through. We got canceled twice when other companies were flying and that to me showed they really cared about the safety of the flight. They generously added on another spot for us to try to fly one more time before our honeymoon was over, and it was the experience of a lifetime! We did doors off, and the views were absolutely breathtaking!! I have never experienced anything like it! But on top of that, you can tell that the people who work there truly care about and love what they do. Mei was so funny and personable while we waited to fly and was very flexible with the rescheduling process. And our pilot Steve was so informative and relaxed during the entire flight. You can tell he's been doing this for years and has an unmatched professionalism to him. I am so glad we chose Ali'i for our flight and would recommend them to anyone!

Professionalism and adventure at its finest. The day before our "doors off" helicopter ride we were called and reminded of our tour and what to wear and expect. Upon our arrival the next day, we were greeted by Kendra who walked us through the trip and showed us a short safety video and got us ready for the flight itself. Our pilot, Stuart, was a fount of information about Kauai history, flora and fauna, and geology. We explored canyons, coastlines, and waterfalls all the while Stuart kept a watchful eye and ensured our safety. The helicopter accommodated just the wife and I behind the pilot and the doors off experience was priceless and exhilarating and the hour we spent in the air was just the right amount of time. Don't miss this experience as you will talk about it for the rest of your life.

Our experience with Ali’i was AWESOME! Liz was super friendly and helpful with all the check-in and safety information. Steve, our pilot was amazing! The perfect blend of quiet to soak in the views, and talking to give us information on what we were seeing and also any slight turbulence. The flight couldn’t have been more perfect! Thank you for making my first helicopter flight so amazing, I’ll be back next year with my husband!! Ali’i very much embodied the Aloha spirit and also the feeling of being Ohana.
