Description

Breckenridge offers a 6-mile dogsledding tour through the stunning Swan River Valley, guided by a team of Siberian Huskies and experienced instructors. The tour operates as a relay, allowing participants to switch between mushing the sled, riding in it, and taking in the scenery from a small passenger sleigh ahead of the husky team. Wonderful experience for the family! We had the opportunity to meet all the dogs, learn about the process and training, and then take a ride to help in the dogs’ summer training! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing details of what/how/why they do what they do while answering any and all questions we had. Following the morning adventure we decided we needed to check things out in the winter, for a whole new experience! Thanks Good Time Adventure Tours!

We had a great time snowmobiling with our guide Casey. It was a 2 hour round-trip tour that went by fast. The views were beautiful!!! He stopped along the way several times to make sure everyone was okay. We had a lovely stopping point where he took photos for us. Super fun experience!!

We did the dog sledding and the snowmobiling, y'all it was the highlight of our trip hands down. The dog sledding tour was SO much fun! Jeremy was fantastic and the dogs were cracking us up the whole time, they either want to run or be pet and honestly it was the best combination. The trail was like a dream, I can't even describe it. These dogs are living their best life and I just loved them all. For snowmobiling we each rented our own and the hand warmers were amazing. It was super easy to get the hang of! Seeing the top of the Continental Divide was absolutely breathtaking. Coming back down on the trail and seeing how fast you can go (safely, of course 😉) is perfect if you're an adrenaline junkie. Such a rush!

Friendly & knowledgeable staff, happy dogs (they were not seen as just as animals but coworkers. Staff always looking out for them and knowing when it’s time to give them a break), amazing views, and an amazing experience. I really like how everyone gets a chance to be the driver, and sit on the basket. When your not doing that portion you get to be pulled around by the snowmobile in a sled. Tips: If you don’t have your own transportation do make sure you have that arranged ahead of time. There is no cell service out here. If you don’t have snow gear don’t worry they will hook you up with their equipment. As a single female traveler, I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe.

Had the opportunity to do both the snowmobiling and dog sledding tours on Tuesday and absolutely loved both! Very well organized process to check in and get you going, felt safe while still going at adventurous speeds during the snowmobiles, got incredible views on the way, and loved all the interaction we were able to have with the dogs during sledding tour. Would it again in the future! Both our tour guides were awesome!
