Scenic Railroad Journey Through Royal Gorge

The train ride is one of our favorite things we've done on our trip to Colorado crowd favorite amongst all of our companion travelers. Great views open their carts are great but get crowded. If you get the panoramic upgraded car with the large Windows you'll have a table which is a big bonus. Food is mediocre to just okay but we did not go there to eat we went there for the views and it far surpassed our expectations. Very happy that we made this decision and drove 2 1/2 hours. Our server Adriana was superb and you'll be fortunate if you're lucky enough to get her. Absolutely a must do.

Today, I had an amazing time. Checkin was a breeze. Handed the ticket clerk my ID and she printed out my tickets. Boarding the train was quick and easy. We were at gate one in a dining car. The food was excellent and our waitress was professional. The outdoor car was fun. Remember to bring a light jacket if you are coming during the winter months.

This was super fun. The views were amazing but the staff really helped make the experience even better. Our server was super friendly and Hubie, our tour guide was one of those people you just love talking/listening to. He had answers for everything and even helped me take a few pictures. I would most definitely recommend to any and everyone.

We took the santa express and the views were mesmerizing. Its stunning all around. Everyone enjoyed the ride a lot. My only gripe would be that the ride could have been a bit longer for the price. At $100+ for a ticket, I expected more. Definitely plan on coming again!

It was cute but for the price of Xmas tickets not worth it to only see 15% of the gorge. Photos attached was pretty much the entire viewing. But for little kids esp if you are big Xmas/santa fans and Carol songs then it may be worth it for you. Tickets for 4 people without food or drinks was over $500 closer to $600. Food prices were okay. Taste was ok. But for Xmas unlimited cookies/hot cocoa/ singing and a bell gift from Santa.
