Description

The Absolute Charm Safari Wine Tour provides an adventurous wine tasting experience in Fredericksburg, Texas. The tour starts with a visit to Longneck Manor, where you can feed and take photos with giraffes. The adventure continues as you visit three selected local wineries and enjoy VIP tastings of their popular wines. In each venue, you will get a detailed introduction to each vintage by a local wine expert. Enjoy some leisure time to soak up the beautiful hill country scenery and possibly catch some live local music on weekends and holidays. The vehicle varies by season, either a safari vehicle seating up to 20 or a Mercedes Sprinter vehicle seating up to 11.

Definitely the highlight of our mother-daughter trip to Fredericksburg was the Safari wine tour with Mike and Niki! It was a first class experience in every way. They introduced us to Wine For the People which turned out to be our favorite winery. The giraffe encounter was so unique and special - a must do! The best part was hanging out with Mike and Niki! They were so knowledgeable about the area and its history, gave us tons of recommendations for eating out, shopping and activities and were super warm, friendly and FUN! We just showed up and had the best day ever with the best people ever without having to plan a thing!

My wife and I had a fantastic time on this 3 winery tour. Our guide Brian treated us like family. He gave us a great tour plus a lot of interesting facts that I never knew about Fredericksburg. I was a little hesitant about the trip at first but we had a blast and will def return. Also....the other guests on the trip were AWESOME and hope to run into them again!

I can not recommend this tour highly enough. We were lucky enough to have Mike and his fantastic wife Nikki as the dream team tour guides. They took exceptional care of us, from carrying our bags to timing the stops, every little detail was taken care of. On top of that, they were so FUN! Educating and engaging our whole group on the history of the area while providing thoughtful recommendations on food and wine! We will absolutely be coming back to them for our next tour and encourage you to do the same.

Mike is the best tour guide/driver I feel like we have ever had. He was knowledgeable, interactive/personable, prompt, never left us unsure of where to go or what to do. At each winery we were set up for success before he departed to allow us to privately enjoy our experience. He also has a bomb snack basket and waters for our enjoyment. Brain was a wonderful guide. My girlfriend and I were completely new to wine and Fredericksburg and Brian gave us an excellent history background of the city. His recommendations for the food and wine options were spot on. Brian was very friendly and professional throughout the whole experience making sure everything was perfect. He was also a great photographer. I would recommend this experience to anyone especially if Brian is leading the tour! My girlfriend and I will definitely be booking again in the future.
