🌟🌟🌟🌟 Four Stars – A Great Family Adventure with Room to Grow! We had a fantastic time at the Texas State Aquarium! The exhibits were engaging, especially the dolphin show and the Caribbean Journey section – the sharks, rays, and sea turtles were crowd favorites. The aquarium does a great job of combining education with entertainment, making it a hit for both kids and adults. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My kids especially enjoyed the interactive touch pools and the splash pad area – great ways to cool off and burn some energy. The reason for four stars instead of five? Ticket prices are quite steep, especially for a relatively small aquarium when compared to similar facilities across the U.S. and internationally. For larger families, the cost adds up quickly. A few areas also felt a bit dated, and while the food options were okay, more variety would be a welcome improvement. Still, this is a gem in Corpus Christi and absolutely worth a visit if you’re in the area. With a few updates and more accessible pricing, this could easily be a five-star destination. We’ll definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the aquarium. My family went about 25 years ago or more. Enjoyed it this time with friends. Busy. Interesting displays. Dolphin show was nice. Food & drinks were expensive. A 12 oz can of water was $4.15. Lunch sandwich with drink was $23+

A must visit!!! Our whole family loved this. It was a great way to entertain everyone and stay cool during the day. They had plenty of food and drink options, so much to see, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The cost is completely worth the visit. Our favorite part was definitely the dolphins! They were lively and seemed happy. All the animals were well kept and they had so many eels to see (my personal favorite).

All aquariums are great, so not unhappy. We loved the dolphin show, affordable gift shop, variety or fish. It was a good time. It did seem a little desolate. Lots of empty areas, only saw one otter or it said there were animals but was abandoned. Could only feed the sting rays at certain times so that was disappointing. Lots of education and educational speakers which was nice.

Second time visiting the Texas State Aquarium and it is our favorite tourist spot on the gulf. The dolphin show starts filling in seats early, lasts about 15-20 minutes and is such a great thing to experience. Three levels of the aquarium are all wheelchair/stroller accessible. Well maintained and clean. The splash pad for the kids is SO fun. 5-6 touch tanks throughout the aquarium and very well staffed. Buy tickets online to avoid lines.
