South Padre Island Horseback Riding Adventures

I cannot recommend this horseback riding tour enough! The entire experience was incredibly beginner-friendly, and our guides -Steven and Kai-made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. They were so kind, knowledgeable, and fun, making the ride even more enjoyable. The horses were absolutely wonderful—so sweet, well-tempered, and easy to ride. It is clear they are well cared for and trained, which made the experience even more special. Before the ride, we got to feed some adorable animals, including longhorns, goats, and a mini horse, which was such a fun and unique touch! The highlight of the tour was riding along the beach at sunset—it was absolutely breathtaking. The views were stunning, and the entire experience felt like something out of a dream. If you're looking for a relaxing, memorable, and beautiful adventure, this is it! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

This was our very first time riding horses. William was super helpful and enthusiastic and really had a passion riding horses. He made us super comfortable. He deserves a raise for sure. I would recommend and definitely return next time we come to South Padre this was every penny. Thank you all for making my Birthday magical!

This was a fantastic activity for our trip to South Padre Island. My friend and I did the morning horseback ride and it was amazing! Our guide, William, did a great job guiding us along the beach, made sure we had lots of opportunities to take pictures, and even served as cameraman for us. He kept the conversations rolling and taught us a lot about the area and also provided plenty of quiet time to allow us to take the whole experience in. The facility is really cute and they had a quick and easy check in process. Everyone was kind and friendly and helpful. If I could give 10 stars on google, I would! If you’re looking for a nice, safe, relaxing horseback ride on the beach- this is a must do!

My daughter has been telling me for several months that she wants to go horseback riding so when I saw this opportunity for the sunset ride, I decided we should give it a try. Booking the activity was easy to do online. They request you be there 45 minutes early which seemed like a long time but it did take longer to get there than expected so my guess is that is the reason they ask. We did get a call while we were heading that way to check on us which I appreciated since we were running a little late- it reassured me that they knew we were coming. There is a tall climbing tower for zip lining right by the entrance that you need to watch for because the sand dunes are built up and we would have missed it had he not told us to watch for the tower. They do have a petting barn where I assume you can see and pet animals while you are waiting for the tour to start. The facility is clean and the animals look healthy and well cared for. My daughter said the guides were very nice and helpful. I think she said there were about 15 people that were in the group. She said her horse was a good one and was easy to ride. Oh, I have heard that a lot of these types of excursions require closed toe shoes and I didn’t see anything about this on the website other than in a question area on trip advisor so I thought I should mention that they don’t require it since you are on the beach but it is recommended. She felt that wearing her sneakers definitely made it easier. She said the scenery was beautiful and she loved her experience and is already asking to go again. This would make a fun family outing while visiting South Padre Island.

We had so much fun on our morning trail ride. It was so cool being able to ride on the beach with the sound and views of the ocean. My son can't stop talking about how fun it was and how he got to feed a longhorn! A little pricey but worth the expirence. All the staff were super great! Highly recommend!
