Historic district is beautiful, take a tour if you want to see it all, there's plenty to choose from! I arrive kinda late and missed the tour and museum, they all close kinda early on Sunday... but nice place to spend some time and take it all in!

Must go back again. This was my third visit and I still feel I have do much to explore and do. We took a riding tour and it was fantastic (as long as you like history) and allows you to get on and off. Great places to eat. The historic district isn't that large and can be walked, if you're young enough. Eye opening history here.

Overall it is entertaining and worth the trip to see the Savannah Historical District. That being said it wasn't mind blowing. Was disappointed in some of the local areas such as the Colonial Park Cemetary which is considered "one of the most beautiful in America," yet was as bland as I could never imagine. Look around and you will find a large number of photo worthy areas that give you an idea of what the south was like a 125 years ago. Worth the overnight stay but not worth more than that.

This was our first visit to Historic Savannah but not our last. We had an amazing vacation. The August heat was something to get use to but the Spanish moss trees, architecture, backdrops, parks, restaurants and overall atmosphere is a must see; we could walk to everything. We loved our trip to Savannah.

We were passing through and always wanted to visit Savannah, GA. We took a guided trolley ride (90-minutes) through the historical downtown on the Orange trolley (sorry forgot the name). Our driver was Justice and she was great. Not only a safe driver, but a fun and knowledgeable tour guide. A must do is to eat at Paullia Dean's restaurant "The Lady & Sons". This restaurant is truly amazing as are their garlic biscuits. I can't get over how good the biscuits were. I had the Chicken and Dumplings and it was amazing!!! The lemonade is also delicious and sweet on a hot day. Lots to see here. We only had about 4 hours so make the most of your time. We recommend the trolley tour to get s lay of the land and sites you want to visit. The trolley stops by each stop every 15-20 minutes and this is the best way to get around town. Parking is expensive down town, but the Orange trolley will let you park in their lot for free if you purchase tickets for the tour. The tours end at 5 p.m.
